14.7 is not possible with current strat. Both me and SniperWD do the stairs and everything else very fast and don't run into any enemies.

Yes, actually this game has a lot of fun levels..
And, to Stefan, I watched Ace's 15.2 run (you're him, right?) and if that is you, you are in fact doing the stairs slow. at least half a second easily. You have to spin to do them fast if I remember. (Watch SilentThunder's Notre Dame Easy world record when he spins on a set of stairs, around 1:10 in.). You can cut the corners much harder if you do it right in this level. It is a much more fluid motion, it's just a little harder to pull off and you will fall more but when you actually get it down perfectly it's definitely faster, try it out.

I'd be glad if you proved me wrong, but my experience tells me that my (it was actually Wouter who started doing it first) way of doing the stairs is the
fastest. Not saying the video has optimal stairs, but almost as good as you can ask for without falling down. It's hard to compare TS2 with TS1 too, since
you don't have to strafe in TS2.
If you watch ST's Chemical Plant video (and I'm pretty sure he used your way) he actually lose time by doing too much of a "spin" motion, or whatever.
