About Deep Sea, Taka: you should pause/unpause/pause/unpause till obj. 2 completes. Notice how you lose a bit of time opening that door. Also, you didn't make that turn (before the last teleportal) very smoothly.

My first room is different than yours too. And why did you wait for Elvis outside the obj.2 room?

Dunno if that makes any difference, but I wait for him inside the room. Sometimes he's very close to the door (after warping). So yeah, it may be faster to wait inside the room, though I'm not sure about that.

Edit: use the CMP150 to kill those 2 guards right before the tunnel, it's faster.

That's what I said when I thought watching the entire cinema for InvestigationA didn't save much time.

Now I have a 1:35 on an average bot. From waiting.

What you need is a wide open door with as many boosts as you can shoot without dying.

I dunno what you mean by OLD strat. The one I used to get 2 mins for? Just get that vid off someone. (I can't remember specifics). The one before shooting for the lift? Get... gee something like 2:28 by maybe... wabs? Any oldschool PALer.

well I have 2:27 ... but on SOS PA (that was the pal record when I got it) but he's talking about SA where I have ... 2:11 I think and no vids for any of those.
Both are damn old and old strats obviously. (I don't even know the new ones

)
So I don't see where I can help. ^^

Though about SOS SA the old school way (PAL), I remember of a 2:04 vid from Shadow Zero. A nice video. You should probably try to get that vid PA. It won't be THAT long, even with 56k. Getfile from Wootie !

The strat is:

Quit cinema when elvis's hands get off the bed.
Go as fast as you can (don't lure scientists).
Shoot to lure lift guards about 10m before the door to the large brown room (that's about halfway between the door and the flat are with 2 guards). Shoot approx 20 bullets.
Close the opening lift.
Continue like normal.

to answer Matt's question, my 2:26 Escape A was taped, but somehow when I try to watch it it goes in fast motion and blurry screen. Might be because I taped on EP mode and then SP and it screwed the tape. That made me pissed.
